Where art meets craftsmanship

Woodworker by day - Artist by night

Most artists in the world probably share this fate with me.

I was a full-time illustrator, but my self-employment didn't pan out as I'd hoped, so I put that dream behind me for the time being and completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter.

During those years, I learned a lot, especially practical thinking and action.

I finally had to put everything I'd learned to the test in my journeyman's piece, and so I created a piece of furniture to honor my innermost being.

My passion for art.

The "Cubist" is a cabinet in which I store my materials, and as I designed, my artistic knowledge constantly flowed into its practical implementation.

I am more than just an artist; I am also a craftsman.

Not only a free spirit, but also a pragmatist.

Recently, I jokingly told a friend a parable about my career path.

Right after high school, I began studying renewable resources. There, I learned, above all, how to solve complex problems theoretically.

As an artist, I learned how to solve my clients' simple problems in the most complicated way possible.

And as a carpenter, I learned how to solve catastrophic problems in a way that works. Ideally, quickly and simply.

And now? What's next?
